This Old Lady puppet keeps all the animals of the story in the back of her dress for easy access. She swallowed a fly, spider, bird, cat, dog, cow, horse!

Verse 1:

There was an old lady who swallowed a fly,

I don’t know why she swallowed a fly.

Perhaps she’ll die!

​Sing the song while feeding each animal in turn to the woman. Watch the students’ response to her amazing capacity to fit each animal into her mouth.

Children learn to sing in tune by listening to a good singing model. This puppet is useful for younger children to listen to the teacher sing the amazing story.
