Another important behavioural management technique is maintaining high expectations of your students.
Obviously the expectations must meet the students where they are at the time, and they build from there.
Giving feedback must always be authentic. Never say “fabulous work” unless you really mean it.
It’s very important that the students respect your integrity and they can rely on your feedback as being honest.
This is helpful to their understanding and continued improvement.
